Loxahatchee Road Project in Parkland is Now 24% Complete

PARKLAND, FL- The Loxahatchee Road construction project in Parkland continues to progress steadily. The project, which is expected to take around 3 years from start to finish, is now 24% complete, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
The following steps of progress were completed in June:
• Contractor completed sheet pile installation at 4 out of 5 locations to the east of SR 817/N University Drive. • Contractor completed interceptor drainage structure and pipe connections at 3 out of 6 locations to the east of SR 817/N University Drive. • Contractor continued with gravity wall installation between Parkside Drive and SR 817/N University Drive, with approximately 30% completed. • Contractor continued with the eastbound SR 817/N University Drive roadway construction to the west of Parkside Drive. • Contractor began roadway widening on the westbound lane between Parkside Drive and SR 817/N University Drive. • FP&L continued with utility relocation efforts and adjustments.
