Bank of North Dakota alerts customers to account hold scam
(Bismarck, ND) — The Bank of North Dakota is warning customers of bogus emails declaring that a hold has been placed on their account. Company officials confirm that the messages are a scam and that recipients should refrain from clicking on any links in the email or providing any personal information or passwords. If you’ve already done one or the other, bank officials say you should send an email to bnd@nd.gov and immediately change your login information.
