Another Iconic California Eatery Abruptly Closes Its Doors For Good

Another beloved California food staple shuttered over the weekend after 30 wonderful years in business .

According to The U.S. Sun , Pasadena's very own Roscoe's House of Chicken N' Waffles is no longer in operation as of Sunday (June 23). The iconic location satisfied hungry patrons for three decades before ultimately deciding to close its doors for good. A thank you sign was placed outside the restaurant in the days leading up to its closure.

"Our last day at this location will be Sunday, June 23, 2024. Pasadena, thank you for 30 wonderful years."

Californians were devastated to hear that Roscoe's was shuttering, and headed to the restaurant to enjoy "one last meal" on the 23rd. Local Leri Smith said goodbye to the legendary location in a sentimental Facebook post.

"Enjoying Roscoe’s for the last time. It is closing today!" Locals fled to the comment section in support of the famous chicken n' waffle house sharing fond memories of the restaurant and expressing their sadness.
