    Stay busy this summer with over 100 events in Tri-Cities, from July 4 to boat races + more

    In June, the Tri-Cities hosted multiple music festivals, plenty of farmers markets, Pride events and other activities, with something to do basically each day of the month.

    July continues that fast-paced summer swing in Tri-Cities, with multiple big events like the Water Follies, Art in the Park and a handful of Independence Day celebrations. You can find your standard trivia and karaoke nights following their regular schedules, plus seasonal events like Dust Devils games and mammoth digs with MCBONES .

    This year’s Water Follies is scheduled for July 26 through 28, in its regular location on the Columbia. Each day is jam-packed with boat races, air shows and other festivities, with a full schedule available online .

    Art in the Park will be back at Howard Amon Park, with vendors galore ready to set up from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 26 and 27. The free festival will include music from Hillstomp, Bon Bon Vivant, Bourbon and Bellows, Lonesome, John and the Downwind Drifters, Bram Brata and more.

    The REACH Museum is celebrating its ten-year anniversary with a special exhibition opening July 6. It will remain available through October. Stop by between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at $12 for adults, $6 for children, seniors and military, and free for kids under 5. There will be a Free Day for the community on June 9. Other events are scheduled throughout the month, with information available online .

    Independence Day includes several multifaceted celebrations in Tri-Cities.

    Pasco’s Grand Old Fourth of July

    • Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at Memorial Park - $7 - 7-11 a.m.

    • Grand Old Fourth of July Parade starting at 3rd Ave. and Sylvester Street - 10 a.m.

    • Cardboard Regatta at the Memorial Aquatic Center - 1 p.m.

    • Camp Patriot Show and Shine Car Show at Memorial Park - Noon to 4 p.m.

    • Fireworks show at Gesa Stadium - Gates open at 8 p.m., fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

    Benton City Fourth of July Community Celebration

    • Benton City Fourth of July 5k at 511 B 9th Street - Free for 12 and under, $15 for teens and $25 for adults - 8 a.m. to noon

    • Breakfast in the Park at City Park - 8 a.m. to noon

    • Flag-raising ceremony at City Park - 9 a.m.

    • Kids Parade at 9th Street - 11 a.m.

    • Kicking for Community Kickball tournament at City Park - $7, or $5 for kids game - 4 p.m.

    • Concessions at City Park - 4 to 6 p.m.

    • Fireworks at City Park - Dusk

    Prosser Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

    • Car Show n’ Shine at Prosser City Park - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    • Kiddie Parade from County Courthouse to City Park - 10:30 a.m.

    • Entertainment including Prosser Community Band - 11 a.m.

    • Little Miss Prosser Pageant on the Sylvan Stage - Noon

    • Fireworks display at Housel Middle School - Dusk

    River of Fire Festival and Fireworks Show at Columbia Park

    • Kid Zone and food trucks - 2 p.m.

    • Musical entertainment - 5 p.m.

    • Fireworks - 10 p.m.
