    City of Pasco accepting proposals for Pasco Specialty Kitchen walk-up food windows

    PASCO, Wash. — The City of Pasco is inviting innovative proposals for the Pasco Specialty Kitchen (PSK) walk-up food windows. These are storefronts at 110 S. Fourth Ave. in Pasco, aimed at creating a hub of culinary creativity and community engagement.

    The City is looking for proposals for new food businesses to utilize the fully-equipped, licensed commercial kitchen and market space at the PSK.

    “The opportunity includes for people to get to know your product, you know, people get to know who you are and eventually you grow,” said Alma Aguirre, the Pasco Specialty Kitchen coordinator. “You're already gonna have your fan base.”

    The advice to someone looking to expand or start their business—apply. Aguirre explained that the City is looking for the business plan, financial plan, hours, menu and marketing information.

    There is also a list of documents required to have a business in the PSK. Those include a government-issued photo I.D., a State of Washington business license, a City of Pasco endorsement, a Benton-Franklin Health District Business Permit, food worker card(s) for owner and employees and business liability insurance.

    The proposal submission deadline is July 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. The Request for Proposal document can be found here , and information about the application process is here .
