Plans for the expansion include adding terminal space and new hangar facilities to meet increasing demand

    – Loyd’s Aviation will expand its operations at Paso Robles Municipal Airport after winning a competitive bid to offer Fixed Base Operator (FBO) and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services. The 14-month bid process concluded with Loyd’s Aviation set to begin services this fall.

Loyd’s Aviation, based in Bakersfield since 1958, currently operates the Bakersfield Jet Center FBO, offers MRO services under Loyd’s Aircraft Maintenance, and provides aircraft management and charter services under its FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate.

Plans for the expansion include adding terminal space and new hangar facilities to meet increasing demand. Conceptual drawings show a proposal for an additional 5,000 square feet to the existing aviation terminal. Final design and construction will begin immediately after Loyd’s Aviation assumes operations.

“Paso Robles is a thriving community at the heart of California’s vibrant central coast wine country,” said Ryan Crowl, president of Loyd’s Aviation. “We’re honored by the support of the City of Paso Robles and the local aviation community that we’ve received. We look forward to bringing great service and additional capacity to an already active and diverse aviation environment.”
