    – The third annual fundraiser benefiting From the Heart Animal Sanctuary will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, from noon to 3 p.m. at 580 Linne Road in the Iron Jungle Gym parking lot.

The event supports From the Heart Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit founded by Leslie and Joe Thomas, which rescues, rehabilitates, and provides permanent homes for animals, including Siberian Huskies, that have been given up by their owners or are otherwise marginalized.

A $10 donation per person grants entry to the event and includes an ice cream cone. Discounts are available for families. The event will feature a range of activities, including bounce houses, a bounce arcade, an obstacle course, and a water balloon toss. An interactive roping demonstration, balloon animal artist, corn hole contest, and face painting will also be available. Additional attractions include a raffle, silent auction, animal appearances, live music, and a visit from a Paso Robles firetruck.

Food will be available for purchase from the Yabba Dabba Dogs food truck, with wine and beer for sale. Please note that dogs are not allowed at the event.

For more information, visit fromtheheartanimalsanctuary.org or contact the sanctuary via email at fromtheheartanimalsanctuary@gmail.com.

From the Heart Animal Sanctuary, located on Fat Goat Farm in Paso Robles, provides a permanent home for unwanted or medically fragile animals. The sanctuary’s animals also participate in children’s art classes led by Joe Thomas, where kids ages 5-12 learn about animal characteristics while drawing and painting them. This outreach fosters knowledge and compassion in young learners.

From the Heart Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donations from individuals and businesses. To support the sanctuary, call (805) 610-2149 or visit the website for more information.
