Passaic County is hosting a Public Information Center at Clifton City Hall on Wednesday, June 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to share information about proposed safety improvements to Allwood Road (County Route 602), from Clifton Avenue to Main Avenue. Update: Air quality alert affecting 5 N.J. counties Tuesday
On Monday at 3:25 p.m. an updated air quality alert was issued valid until Tuesday at 11 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties. "The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Action Day for the following counties: Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, and Union From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday. An Air Quality Action Day means that Ground Level Ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards," says the National Weather Service.
