Wednesday Shooting Send Paterson Man, Clifton Woman to Hospital

PATERSON, NJ- A Paterson man and a Clifton woman both suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds in a shooting incident on Wednesday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge Isa Abbassi, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Broadway and Main Street on a report of a shooting at approximately 4:07 p.m.

While on scene police located both victims as well as a potential crime scene. The victims were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office asks anyone with additional information about this incident to contact them on their tips line at 1-877-370-PCPO or tips@passaiccountynj.org or to contact the Paterson Police Shooting Investigation Unit at 973-321-1342.
