    Patrick arrests include locals

    STUART, Va. — The Patrick County Sheriff’s Office has announced charges against and/or arrests of residents from the greater Mount Airy area recently, including:

    • Evan Sands Hall, 18, of 379 Hamp Hall Lane, Claudville, who was charged last Thursday with destruction of property valued at less than $1,000;

    • Shannon Gray Pack, 32, of 4978 Little Dan River Road, Claudville, charged on April 29 with two felonies: abduction by force, etc., to deprive of liberty and unauthorized use of a vehicle, along with a protective order violation, preventing help from being summoned by obstructing communication through wireless means and petty larceny;

    • Joseph Ray Walton, 35, of 679 Ararat Highway, Ararat, charged on April 26 with felony unauthorized use of a vehicle;

    • Gladys Lynnette Griffith, 51, of 211 Triple Smith Lane, Ararat, charged on April 22 with assault and battery;

    • Tyler James Anderson, 26, of 84 Hatchers Chapel Road, Claudville, served on April 18 with a capias (arrest order) for a felony probation violation;

    • Andrew Bailey Staples, 38, of 165 Galylean Road, Mount Airy, served on April 16 with a capias for failing to appear in court;

    • Christopher Kirk Gray, 53, of 421 Pedigo Ridge Road, Ararat, served on April 15 with a capias for failing to appear in court;

    • Jeremy Shane Bennett, 41, of 178 Pine Spur Lane, Ararat, served on April 14 with a capias for failing to appear in court, with Pulaski County authorities making the arrest for Patrick County;

    • Miranda Jessica Lyn Buchanan, 27, of 475 Ararat Highway, Ararat, served on April 10 with a capias for an indictment on a felony charge of possession of marijuana/Schedule III controlled substance by a prisoner;

    • Fernando Alexis Sanchez, 23, of 152 Doe Run Road, Ararat, served on April 8 with a felony extradition warrant;

    • Joseph Lee Tate, 47, 438 New Life Church Road, Mount Airy, charged on April 3 with reckless driving, endangering life/limb/property, and driving without a license.
