Vesta man arrested after assault
A Vesta man is in jail after he allegedly assaulted his elderly father and then barricaded himself in the home. Brandon Garrick Pegram, 33, eventually surrendered to deputies and was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, and domestic assault and battery.
