    Cohasset's Regan beats Duxbury in OT: South Shore high school top performers for May 20-27

    The final week of the high school spring sports season is here.

    The final day for regular-season games is on Monday, May 27, with the state tournament starting at the end of next week. Follow the results and highlights for the last week of regular-season action.

    Thursday, May 23

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    Cohasset's Avery Regan completed her hat trick by stealing the ball and scoring in overtime to beat Duxbury, 15-14. Laney Larsen scored 6 goals, and Aine Norton and Reese Hansen had 2 each as the Skippers completed a 14-3 regular season. Addy Andrews (3 caused turnovers) was a defensive standout for Cohasset, which trailed 7-1 after the first quarter. Duxbury's Gabby Fisher forced OT with a late goal.

    Oliver Ames' Kayla Isleib and Taylor McAndrew each had 2 goals and an assist in an 11-5 loss to Ursuline Academy. Leanna Hudson also scored for the Tigers.

    Hingham defeated Foxboro, 15-8.

    BOYS LACROSSE

    Plymouth North's Kaden Bono scored twice in a 4-2 win over Oliver Ames. Ryan Jaco and Alex McAndrew scored for OA, and Ethan St. Jean made 13 saves.

    Bridgewater-Raynham's Brendan Rosher had 4 goals and 2 assists in a 9-7 win over Plymouth South. Colin Carfagna (hat trick) and Jayson Kelleher (2 goals) also starred for B-R (12-6).

    Milton defeated Braintree, 16-2, to complete its best regular season (12-6) since 2005.

    BASEBALL

    Plymouth North's D.C. Brown threw 6 no-hit innings in a 7-3 win over Whitman-Hanson, allowing 1 run with 8 strikeouts. Matthew Nardone (3-for-4, home run, 2 RBIs) and George Slauson (2-for-2, double, triple, 2 RBIs) starred at the plate for the Eagles, who finish the regular season 17-3. Whitman-Hanson's David McNaught struck out 7, and relievers Dylan Bausemer and Bobby Baker combined for 2 scoreless innings for the Panthers (14-7).

    Cohasset's Tucker Bliss was 4-for-4 with 3 RBIs in an 11-8 loss to Dedham. In his first varsity start, John Wallingford pitched 5 strong innings. Anthony Simone (2-for-4, run) and Austin Soderberg (2-for-3, 2 RBIs, outfield assist) also had solid games for the Skippers.

    SOFTBALL

    Plymouth North's Molly Ryan drove in 4 runs in a 19-4 win over Whitman-Hanson. Ellie Snyder and Marissa Durette each had 2 RBIs. For W-H, Taryn Leonard and Cassidy Briggs each had 2 hits and 2 RBIs, and Victoria Sheehan stole 2 bases.

    Scituate defeated Quincy/North Quincy, 13-0.

    BOYS VOLLEYBALL

    Braintree defeated Milton, 3-0, to claim the Bay State Conference Herget Division title.

    Wednesday, May 22

    BOYS LACROSSE

    Blue Hills' Mike Repucci , fresh off becoming the program's all-time leading goal-scorer on Tuesday, found the net 6 times in a 22-5 Senior Day win over Cape Cod Tech that clinched a Div. 5 playoff berth for the Warriors (9-9). Ben Rossini added a hat trick, and John Kilpatrick, Jake Logan, Colin Devine, Aiden Landers and Jaxson Norton also scored.

    Abington goalie Nick Harris headlined the Green Wave's 10-2 win over Old Colony. Hunter Grafton (4 goals, 3 assists), Pat Prewitt (3 goals), Ian Barrett (2 goals, assist), Zach Buccigross (3 assists), Jonathan Halpin (goal, assist) and Matt Grafton (assist) shined offensively.

    South Shore Tech earned a share of the Mayflower League title with a 19-8 win over Bristol-Plymouth, in which Todd Egan (6 goals, 3 assists), Ben Tondorf (4 goals, 3 assists), Eamon Haley (5 goals, assist) and Tyler Kline (4 goals, 2 assists) had big games for the Vikings (17-1).

    Marshfield defeated Silver Lake, 13-3.

    Duxbury defeated Whitman-Hanson, 15-5.

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    Peyton Mathisen and Hannah Nota each netted 4 goals as South Shore Tech took down Bristol-Plymouth, 12-7. Sofia Grasso picked up 3 goals and an assist, and Lily Berquist scored in the win for the Vikings (16-1).

    Emily Keefe (2 goals, 3 assists), Emily Long (2 goals), Erin Rennie (goal), Kate Lambert (goal), Lexi White (goal) and Ainsley Yates (19 saves) headlined Bridgewater-Raynham's 17-7 defeat to Nantucket.

    Clara McGrath (4 goals, assist), Noelle Finucane (3 goals), Caroline Robbins (2 goals) Julia O’Brien, Ella Dargan, Gabby Reardon and Morgan Murphy (15 saves) led Marshfield to a 9-6 win over Silver Lake.

    Eight scorers led Weymouth to a 16-5 win over Newton North. The Wildcats (15-5) finish the regular season with the most wins in program history.

    Quincy qualified for the state tournament with a 13-4 win over Plymouth North.

    North Quincy defeated Plymouth South, 15-8.

    Norwell defeated East Bridgewater, 16-1.

    Hingham defeated Pembroke, 20-4, to improve to 15-3 on the season. The Harborwomen have won four straight Patriot League titles.

    Whitman-Hanson's Bailey Kelly scored twice in a 17-5 loss to Duxbury.

    BASEBALL

    Evan Yakavonis struck out 7, walked none and allowed zero earned runs in a complete-game effort as Whitman Hanson (14-6) bested New Bedford, 5-2. Zach Casey went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs, and Yakavonis had an RBI double in the sixth inning.

    Gill Dolan hit a home run and had 4 RBIs as Weymouth defeated Newton North, 8-2. Matt Suplee went 3-4 with an RBI for the Wildcats. Liam Barr earned the win, striking out 5 in 4 innings, and Jack Browning picked up the save.

    Teagan Zakrzewski went 4-for-5 with 2 doubles, 4 RBIs and 3 runs as Carver earned an 18-5 win over Wareham in five innings. Derek Lopes (3-for-4, double, 3 RBIs, 2 runs), Tyler Lennox (2-for-5, double, 2 RBIs, 2 runs, 2 stolen bases), Finn Manning (2-for-2, double, walk, 2 RBIs) and Nate Dirado (2 RBIs, run) also shined offensively for the Crusaders. Levon Mulready struck out 7 in three innings on the mound, and went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs, 2 runs and 3 stolen bases. Bob Alpert allowed one hit in 2 innings of work, and picked a double and run scored.

    Ryan Nunes went 3-for-3 and collected 3 RBIs in West Bridgewater's 8-7 victory over Bourne. Jag Garces pitched 3⅔ innings, struck out 4 and allowed two runs and three hits, while going 2-for-3 with an RBI at the plate. Jacob Smith picked up 3 RBIs, and Brayden Ross went 3-for-4.

    North Quincy defeated Hanover, 11-10, led by Ryan Wirtz (3 hits, double, RBI, run) and Charlie Baker (2 hits, RBI, 2 runs). Winning pitcher Aidan McCarthy allowed 3 hits and 2 earned runs over 5⅓ innings and had 2 hits, including a double, and 2 RBIs. Reliever Max LaMonica worked 1⅔ innings for the save and added 2 hits and a run.

    Hingham's Jeremy Aylward had a triple and a 2-run home run in a 4-1 win over Silver Lake. Colin Garrity pitched 6 innings for the win, allowing just 2 hits, and Owen Hart (save) worked a 1-2-3 seventh inning.

    North Attleboro defeated Bridgewater-Raynham, 8-2.

    Braintree's Hayden Regan (2 hits, 3 RBIs) and Sean O’Rourke (2 hits, 2 RBIs) starred in an 11-9 win over Milton that gave the Wamps (17-3) their second-most wins ever in a regular season. Winning pitcher Max Deroche allowed 3 earned runs over 6 innings with 5 strikeouts. For Milton (9-9), Harry Hinckle was 3-for-4 with a double, a grand slam, 4 RBIs and 3 runs, and Reid Dexter was 1-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs.

    Hull's John Reynolds was 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs in a 10-9 win over Holbrook. With the game tied at 9-9, Ken Autio led off the bottom of the sixth with a triple and scored on an error. He was 1-for-2 with a walk and worked 2 innings in relief, allowing an earned run and no hits with 5 strikeouts. Edward Hipp got the win in relief for the Pirates (13-6), and Luke Dunham was 1-for-2 with a pair of walks.

    SOFTBALL

    Archbishop Williams' Jill Ondrick picked up her 500th career strikeout, blasted three homers and totaled 6 RBIs as the Bishops defeated Boston Latin, 15-3. Monica Kelley (3-for-3, 2 doubles, 3 runs) and Maeve Brophy (2-for-3) also contributed to the win.

    Delaney Moquin struck out 18 and hit a 2-run home run to lead Silver Lake to a 5-3 win over Hingham. Samantha Waters went 3-for-3 and Nina O’Neil went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles for the Lakers (16-2).

    Hanover's bats came alive in its 13-1 win over Quincy/North Quincy, as Kaelyn Chase (3-for-4, 3 runs), McKenzie Foley (3-for-4, double, home run, 2 runs and 2 RBIs), Abby Hanna (3-for-4, double, 5 RBI) and Noey Giardina (double, 3 runs, 2 RBI) and Abby Minasi (2-for-2, double, walks, 2 RBIs, run) shined. Sophomore pitchers Talia Beer and Paisley Stevens combined to allow 4 hits and 1 run in the victory.

    Abington's Jess Blyth (3-for-6, double, 6 RBI), Maddie McDonald (2-for-4, 3 RBI, 2 runs), Calli Pineau (2-for-4, 2 RBI, 2 runs), Brenna Howley (2-for-4, double, RBI) and Ella Franey (double, 2 RBI) stood out offensively in a 19-17 win over Cohasset. The Green Wave finish the regular season 19-1. In the loss, Caitlyn Simms hit her 5th home run of the season for the Skippers; she had 3 RBIs and 3 runs. Catherine Toomey ( double, 3 RBIs, 2 runs) and Casey Nichols (2 hits, 4 RBIs, 2 runs) also starred for Cohasset.

    Olivia Hartman , Olivia Gallo and Emerson Kearns collected hits in Middleboro's 3-1 loss to Rockland.

    Riley Lanzillo went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI as Marshfield topped Whitman-Hanson, 11-3. Sofia Blanco (3 hits, 3 RBI) and Maddie Powers (3 hits) had big days for the Rams (12-5). Victoria Sheehan, Taryn Leonard, Kaylee Butterfield, Abby Norton and Ashlyn McCampbell each recorded a hit for Whitman-Hanson.

    Milton's Sadie Steuterman hit a walk-off fielder's choice to plate pinch runner Maggie Mullen with the winning run in the 9th inning a 4-3 victory over Braintree on Senior Night. M.K. Maloney got the winning rally started with a double; Molly Lovett then bunted Mullen over to third. Abby Hunt earned the win in the circle, pitching 5 innings.

    BOYS TENNIS

    Kaden Gerstel and Will Cifrino picked up singles wins in Rockland's 4-1 triumph over Middleboro. Mo Asad and Xander Wehnau won in doubles for the Bulldogs. Theodore Collins took home an individual win in third singles for the Sachems.

    GIRLS TENNIS

    Oliver Ames' Hannah Farber finishes the regular season with an undefeated individual record in first singles, but the Tigers lost to Sharon, 4-1.

    North Quincy swept a double-header vs. Stoughton (4-1, 4-1).

    Norwell defeated Randolph, 5-0.

    Notre Dame Academy defeated Scituate, 5-0, getting singles wins from Amelia Maw , Sophia Lirio and Julia Walsh . NDA swept the doubles matches with the teams of Vivienne LaGrassa/Skye Bunge and Lily Studebaker/Molly Dunigan .

    Hingham defeated Silver Lake, 5-0, getting singles wins from Sam Ruddick , Sammy Price and Hannah Mello . The Harborwomen (15-3) swept the doubles matches with the teams of Mia Sacco/Gabi Magner and Ellie Clark/Simran Vaishnava.

    GIRLS GOLF

    Harper Capilli, Ava Welch, Hailey Flynn and Isabelle Sundstrom claimed wins in Duxbury's 4-2 victory over Bishop Feehan.

    BOYS VOLLEYBALL

    Durfee defeated Quincy, 3-0.

    Tuesday, May 21

    SOFTBALL

    Marshfield's Cameron Bonarrigo pitched her first 6 varsity innings, striking out 7, and Riley Lanzillo had a big 2-run double in an 8-7 win over Plymouth North. Rowan Dillon (3 hits, 2 RBIs) and Haylie McPhee (2 RBIs) also starred for the Rams (11-5).

    Weymouth's Maddie Smith threw her second no-hitter of the season, striking out 14 over 6 innings, in a 10-0 win over Rising Tide Charter. Bella Pires a nd Abby Reedeach had 2 hits, and Paige Sellon had a triple for the Wildcats (9-10).

    South Shore Tech's Molly Peterson was 3-for-3 with a 3-run triple, 5 RBIs and a run scored in an 18-3 win over Old Colony. Lindsey Lincolne was 2-for-2 with 3 RBIs and 4 runs.

    Hanover's McKenzie Foley was 2-for-4 with a home run, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a 14-0 win over Scituate. Kaelyn Chase (2-for-4, triple, 2 RBIs, 2 runs) and Noey Giardina (2-for-4, double, 2 RBIs, run) also starred at the plate, and Marley Gallagher and Joey Marshall-Pelayo each had her first varsity hit. Talia Beer (9th win) and Paisley Stevens combined on a 2-hit shutout for the Hawks (10-8).

    Hingham's Bilyana Wilkin struck out 10 in the circle and was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run in a 10-4 win over Duxbury. Jane Melia (3 RBIs), Kate Schulte (2 RBIs) and Jess Mulrey (2-for-4, RBI, 2 runs) also starred for the Harborwomen (11-7).

    Notre Dame Academy edged Whitman-Hanson, 3-2, as Erin Kral drew a bases-loaded walk for the walk-off win. Winning pitcher Shannon MacLeod allowed 1 hit and no earned runs in the complete game, striking out 15. She also drove in a run. Jessica Chiarenza had 2 hits and an RBI for NDA (10-6). Victoria Sheehan scored a run for W-H, which stole 6 bases.

    Plymouth South defeated Quincy/North Quincy, 13-1.

    Hingham defeated Duxbury, 10-4.

    Middleboro edged Greater New Bedford Voke, 4-3, in 10 innings.

    BASEBALL

    Archbishop Williams' Josh Turcotte was 3-for-3 with a double, a walk and 2 RBIs in an 8-3 win over Boston Latin School. Stephen Ondrick (2 hits, double, 2 RBIs, 2 runs) and Joe Schwartz (2 hits, double) also starred at the plate for the Bishops (7-11). Will Shanahan earned the victory on the mound, allowing 1 earned run over 5⅓ innings with 5 strikeouts.

    Whitman-Hanson's Ryan Baker threw a complete game with 10 strikeouts in an 8-2 win over Silver Lake. Johnny Walker (triple, 2 RBIs) and Jason Nye (RBI) each went 2-for-3 for the Panthers (13-6). Anthony Miele (3 hits) and Jack Quigley (2 hits) led the Lakers.

    Plymouth South defeated North Quincy, 11-4, as winning pitcher Joe Rogan went 6 innings, allowing 3 earned runs with 6 strikeouts. He also was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Cam Manning had a solo home run for the Panthers (8-11) in the victory. Max Gaudiano had a 2-run single for the Raiders on Senior Night.

    Hull's Luke Dunham was 3-for-5, and Nick Tiani and John Reynolds each went 2-for-5 with an RBI in a 14-11 win over Rockland. It was the completion of a game suspended from Saturday with Rockland up 9-6 in the fourth inning. Tegan Bellew earned the win in relief for the Pirates (12-6), working 3⅔ innings. Ken Autio got the save and was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Logan Griffin (1-for-2, 3 walks, 2 RBIs) also starred.

    Hanover's Gabriel Knudsen struck out 10 and allowed 2 hits over 6 innings and was 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs in an 8-0 win over Scituate. Max Aikins pitched the final inning for the Hawks (14-3).

    Carver's Nate Dirado earned the complete-game win, striking out 8, in a 9-4 victory over Cardinal Spellman. Offensively, the Crusaders were led by Levon Mulready (3-for-3, double, walk, 3 RBIs, run), Tyler Lennox (3-for-4, 2 RBIs, run) and Teagan Zakrzewski (2-for-3, double, walk, 3 runs, 2 steals). Spellman was led by Brady Flaherty (2-for-3, double, 2 RBIs), Alex Confarotta (2-for-4, RBI) and Ben Catton (2-for-3, 2 steals).

    Plymouth North defeated Marshfield, 7-3.

    Hingham defeated Duxbury, 6-2, as Teddy Swanson pitched a complete-game 4-hitter with 5 strikeouts. Jeremy Aylward 's 2-run triple capped a 4-run sixth inning that also featured sacrifice flies from Mykolas Ruth and Jack Larkin .

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    Weymouth's Kendall Rogers (100 career points) and Megan Doyle (800 career draw controls) each hit milestones in a 19-3 win over Milton. Kylee Fennelly added a career-high 3 points for the Wildcats (14-5), and Molly Tufts had 4 draw controls and 3 ground balls.

    South Shore Tech's Peyton Mathisen had 5 goals, and Lily Berquist added a hat trick in a 13-0 win over East Bridgewater. Kayla Nota and Sofia Grasso each scored twice, and Bella Humphreys added a goal for the Vikings (15-1).

    Pembroke defeated Plymouth South, 10-8.

    Sandwich defeated Hanover, 16-9.

    Notre Dame Academy defeated Westwood, 14-10, to conclude a 17-1 regular season.

    BOYS LACROSSE

    West/East Bridgewater's Connor Kingman (6 goals, 3 assists), Cylas Hickey (6 goals, 2 assists) and Collin Brown (goal, 2 assists) starred in a 14-9 win over Cardinal Spellman.

    Bridgewater-Raynham's Jayson Kelleher and Nikos Triantafillou had hat tricks in a 12-1 win over Canton. Goalie Shaun LaCivita also played well for the Trojans (11-6).

    Weymouth defeated Plymouth North, 15-4, on Senior Night to clinch a playoff berth.

    Foxboro edged Milton, 8-7.

    Blue Hills' Mike Repucci scored 7 goals to become the program's all-time leading scorer (168 career goals) in a 12-6 win over Southeastern. John Kilpatrick , Ben Rossini and Jake Logan also scored for the Warriors (8-9), who must beat Cape Cod Tech in Wednesday's regular-season finale to qualify for the Div. 4 playoffs.

    GIRLS TENNIS

    Hingham edged Duxbury, 3-2, as Sanya Khadivi won at second singles, and the Harborwomen (14-3) swept the doubles with the teams of Sammy Price/Gabi Magner (3-set win at No. 1) and Mia Sacco/Maddie Cusack (3-set win at No. 2). Duxbury's points came at first singles ( Caroline Sutliffe ) and third singles ( Charlotte Ording ).

    Plymouth North defeated Marshfield, 4-1, getting singles wins from Emmy Spinale (No. 2) and Lily Meyer (No. 3) and sweeping the doubles with the teams of Kelsey Davis/Kendall Zemotel (No. 1) and Helena Dhillon/Sammi Cheung (No. 2).

    BOYS TENNIS

    Duxbury defeated Hingham, 4-1.

    GIRLS GOLF

    Duxbury beat Silver Lake, 5-1, at Duxbury Yacht Club, getting wins from Harper Capilli, Caroline Donovan, Hailey Flynn , Isabelle Sundstrom and Lauren Reilly . Candice Noble recorded Silver Lake's point.

    Hingham defeated Notre Dame Academy, 4.5-1.5, getting strong play from Callie Crean , Lauren Weber , Elizabeth Haughey and Finley Erick .

    BOYS VOLLEYBALL

    Weymouth defeated Milton, 3-1, on the road to clinch a Div. 1 playoff berth. The Wildcats finish the regular season 10-10.

    Braintree edged Wellesley, 3-2, to improve to 13-6.

    BC High defeated North Quincy, 3-1.

    Monday, May 20

    BOYS LACROSSE

    Ryan Jaco, Shaun Teehan, Lucas Gangi and Brody Forman each scored a goal, but Oliver Ames lost to Foxboro, 16-4.

    Sandwich defeated Abington, 12-5, as Matt Grafton (2 goals, assist) and Hunter Grafton (goal, 2 assists) had 3-point days in the loss.

    Hanover defeated Quincy/North Quincy, 12-7.

    Canton defeated King Philip, 11-10, in double-overtime.

    Willy Robinson had 3 goals and 5 assists in Scituate's 18-4 win over Barnstable. Charlie Hartwell, Dolan Floyd, Quinn DeCourcey and Will Cahill each had 3 goals.

    Seniors Anthony Mussari and Nolan Barbour each scored in Bridgewater-Raynham's 15-2 win over Seekonk. Corey Herbery and Jaxon McCauley also found the net.

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    Bridgewater-Raynham's Emily Keefe (3 goals, 4 assists) scored her 200th career point (she's up to 206 now) in a 14-10 win over Dighton-Rehoboth. Lexi White (3 goals) and Ashley McLaren (2 goals, assist) had 3-point days. Ainsley Yates made 22 saves.

    Ursuline Academy defeated Quincy, 13-11.

    Middleboro defeated Mashpee, 17-14, as Jessica Perry and Paige Strong each had 4 goals.

    Oliver Ames' Kayla Isleib had a hat trick in a 17-6 loss to Foxboro.

    Gabby Fisher and Lydia Kondry each had 5 goals in Duxbury's 15-6 win over Grafton.

    Laney Larsen had 7 goals and an assist in Cohasset's 13-10 win over Norwell. Janet O'Carroll had 11 saves while Reese Hansen (2 goals, 3 assists) and Avery Regan (3 goals, assist) chipped in offensively.

    Gabby Reardon (3 goals, 4 assists) scored the winning goal in overtime in Marshfield's 14-13 win over Old Rochester Regional. Julia O'Brien had 5 goals and 4 assists and Noelle Finucane added 4 goals and 1 assist.

    North Quincy's Iris Gjoka scored 9 goals, including the 100th of her career, in a 16-11 win over Stoughton. Autumn O'Campos added 5 goals and 6 assists for the Raiders.

    Archbishop Williams' Avery Valicenti (5 goals) recorded her 300th career point in a 15-10 loss to Malden Catholic. Caroline Batchelder (2 goals, 3 assists) and Emily Fleming (2 goals, assist) also starred.

    BASEBALL

    Sandwich defeated Rockland, 8-1.

    Middleboro defeated Norwell, 10-1, as the Sachems had 12 hits. Cole Kelleher struck out 9 over 6 innings.

    Jack Ritchie didn't allow an earned run in a complete-game effort with 12 strikeouts in Bridgewater-Raynham's 4-1 win over Brockton. He also went 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs.

    Joseph Mannix earned the win and Tyler Lennox closed the game out as Carver defeated Mashpee, 6-2. Teagan Zakrzewski (1-for-2, 2 walks, run) made a diving, game-saving catch with the bases loaded. Levon Mulready had 2 RBIs.

    Chris Swirbalus had a go-ahead, 2-out, 2-RBI single in the sixth inning as Archbishop Williams defeated Bristol-Plymouth. Joshua Turcotte and Nolan Swirbalus had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Joe Schwartz had three stolen bases.

    Hanover defeated Quincy, 10-0, as Ben Freedman pitched 6 shutout innings to earn his first varsity win. He allowed 1 hit and struck out 9. Thomas Perkins and Cole Hendrickson (3 RBIs) each had 4 hits. Gabe Knudsen had a 2-RBI double.

    Weymouth defeated Milton, 2-1. Weymouth's Jack Reyes threw a 2-hitter with 7 strikeouts and no walks. He led the way offensively, going 2-for-3 with a double and a 2-run home run in the sixth inning. In the loss, Leo Lyons allowed 2 hits and 1 earned run in 6 innings with 7 strikeouts. Scott Longo had a double and Luke Naughton had an RBI double.

    Cardinal Spellman's Brady Flaherty pitched 5⅓ innings in relief and went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a 12-7 loss to Weston. Johnny Petruzzo had a double, a walk and 2 runs scored for the Cardinals.

    Braintree's Luke Joyce threw a complete-game 3-hitter with 6 strikeouts and 0 earned runs in a 4-1 win over Needham. Hayden Regan , Cal Youhas and Sean Canavan drove in runs for the Wamps (16-3).

    Cohasset's Josh Young pitched a complete game in a 7-2 win over Hull. Luc LeFevre was 2-for-3 with a double, an intentional walk and 2 RBIs.

    SOFTBALL

    Elsie Testa threw her first career no-hitter (7 strikeouts, walk, 0 earned runs) and Maddie McDonald had a walk-off hit as Abington defeated Pembroke, 2-1. McDonald's winning double plated Brenna Howley in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Green Wave (18-1). Howley had tied the game with a double.

    Silver Lake defeated Whitman-Hanson, 6-0, as Delaney Moquin threw a no-hitter. She tallied her 400th career strikeout. Mady Bryan, Nina O’Neil, Kenna Slyker and Anna Craft all had 2-hit days. The Lakers clinched the Patriot League Keenan Division title. Alyssa Anderson pitched well in the loss.

    East Bridgewater defeated Cardinal Spellman, 15-2, in 5 innings as Mia Holmes earned the win in the circle with a 5-strikeout day. Em McNaught, Riley Egan, Liz McNaught and Gabby Luddy each had a pair of RBIs.

    Taylor Marino pitched a gem (5 strikeouts, 1 walk, 2 hits, 0 earned runs) in Oliver Ames' 2-1 win over Foxboro. Crystyliah Covel went 1-for-3 and scored on RBI-double by Paige Taylor . Devon Morris had a 2-out RBI to plate Taylor for the winning run.

    Ava Donaghue and Rebecca Tse had grand slams as Fontbonne Academy swept East Boston in a double-header (22-1, 15-0). Gillian Jolley belted a home run.

    Milton defeated Weymouth, 10-0, as Victoria Fish had 3 hits and Zahria Daley pitched a shutout. Christina McA'Nulty had 2 hits. In the loss, Viv Palazzo and Riley Flatley each had a hit and Abby Reed drew a pair of walks.

    Randolph defeated Cristo Rey, 20-4.

    Hanover defeated Notre Dame Academy, 8-3, behind 2-hit days from McKenzie Foley (double, 2 runs, RBI), Kaelyn Chase (2 runs, RBI, double), Abby Hanna (run, RBI) and Heather McGinnis (RBI, run). Also, Noey Giardina drove in 2 RBIs.

    Olivia Roy (RBI, run) and Madi Delano (double, run) each had 3 hits in Bridgewater-Raynham's 11-4 win over Dartmouth. Talia Faria had a double, triple and 2 RBIs. Ava Selter scored 3 runs and Chloe Martin had 2 hits and 2 RBIs.

    Cohasset defeated Scituate, 17-5, as Angelina Grimes went 5-for-5 with a double, triple, 4 RBIs and 3 runs. Bella Kearney went 4-for-5. Caitlyn Simms belted her fourth home run of the season and had 3 RBIs. Samantha Kearney went 3-for-3 with 3 runs.

    Duxbury's Jodi Soderstrom and Caleigh Ryan went a combined 6-for-8 in a 7-5 win over Marshfield.

    Rockland defeated Sandwich, 15-0, behind big games from Maddy Mills (3-for-3, 2 doubles, 3 RBIs) and Kiley Murdock (2-for-2, shutout).

    GIRLS GOLF

    Duxbury defeated Notre Dame Academy, 4-2, behind wins from Ava Welch, Hailey Flynn, Marley Hamilton and Geneveive Taylor .

    Quincy/North Quincy defeated Scituate, 5-1.

    GIRLS TENNIS

    Whitman-Hanson defeated Silver Lake, 3-2. Sam Jacobsen (second singles), Sophie Ennis/Maddy Morris (first doubles) and Rachel Boulger/Ciara Flynn (second doubles) won matches for the Panthers.

    Hanover defeated Quincy, 4-1.

    Randolph defeated East Bridgewater, 5-0.

    Hanover defeated North Quincy, 4-1.

    Oliver Ames defeated Foxboro, 4-1, behind wins from Hannah Farber (first singles), Stella Zachos (second singles), Ava Barth/Emily Beaulieu (first doubles) and Ella Mierzwinski/Abby Borden (second doubles).

    Brockton defeated New Bedford, 4-1, behind wins from Liliana Renaud (second singles), Shyrose Coddett (third singles), Christelle Jean-Baptiste/Endocia Nkrumah (first doubles) and Logan Lin/Victoria Flueriot (second doubles).

    Braintree edged Needham, 3-2, sweeping the singles as Haily Pham won a 3-setter at No. 1 and Jolin Yang won a 3-setter at No. 2. Emma Townsend won in straight sets at No. 3.

    Notre Dame Academy defeated Cohasset, 4-1.

    BOYS TENNIS

    Whitman-Hanson improved to 8-8 on the season with a 4-1 win over Silver Lake. Brady Wright (first singles), Mateo Santalucia (second singles), Black Belcher (third singles) and Tristan Baker/Ryan Hathaway (first doubles) all won their matches.

    Hanover defeated Quincy, 4-1.

    North Quincy defeated Hanover, 5-0.

    Oliver Ames defeated Foxboro, 4-1. Nick Westeebeke and Patrick Dolan won singles matches. Nick Wagner/Brendan Teehan and Alex Vasilou/Max Westerbeke won doubles matches.

    BOYS VOLLEYBALL

    Quincy defeated Randolph, 3-0.

    BC High's James Shriver and Liam Poole each had 10 kills, and Connor Gallagher added 14 digs in a 3-0 win over Xaverian.
