Quality over quantity: These South Shore girls golfers are starring this spring

There aren't many South Shore high schools that offer girls golf in the spring, but the ones that do have quality talent.

Last year, four local schools were represented on our All-Scholastic list (Duxbury, Hingham, Notre Dame Academy and Scituate). Some of those players returned to the same standard again this time around.

With postseason matches fast approaching, we reached out to coaches to see who was starring this spring. Here are a few names we received.

The South Sectional Final is on Tuesday, May 28 at Maplegate Country Club in Bellingham. The Div. 1 State Championship is on Monday, June 3 at the Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley.

Only schools that responded to our inquiries are included here. Coaches, if you have an athlete we should include: email sports@patriotledger.com.
