No matter which way you turn on the South Shore this weekend, there will be a fair or a festival nearby.

Hallmark events like the Marshfield Fair are already underway. For those who haven't gotten over to the Marshfield Fairgrounds, there are still ways to save on your admission, so be sure to check out our ways to save advice .

Likewise, the annual Plymouth Waterfront Festival is back and promises to be as big and varied as ever with vendors and food trucks offering something for everyone, as if the waterfront alone was a good enough reason to get out for a day.

For fun with a cause, head over to Hull for the Kerry Jon Walker Fund's end-of-summer jamboree. The nonprofit is dedicated to helping humanity and supporting those affected by poverty, all while offering music and fun along with African and Navaho crafts.

For hockey fans, head down to Plymouth on Sunday, when the Bruins Fan Tour will come by with all kids of collectibles, merchandise and Bruins history in tow.

And for those who want something a little more out of the way, The Trustees of Reservation will celebrate the end of summer with a concert at World's End in Weymouth
