When Curry College starts school. Here are move-in dates, when classes begin

MILTON — Hustle and bustle will soon return to Curry College 's Milton campus as move-in day for Curry students quickly approaches.

Hundreds of students will soon move onto campus as they prepare for the start of fall semester.

Liz Matson, a spokesperson for Curry College, said the college has 628 new students enrolled, including 579 freshmen, and about 80 percent of them will live on campus.

Here's the academic schedule for Curry College students this fall, including move-in days and the last day of the semester:

Curry College 2024 move-in dates and fall academic calendar

New student move-in day: Thursday, Aug. 22

New student welcome weekend: Thursday, Aug. 22- Sunday, Aug. 25

Returning student move-in day: Sunday, Aug. 25

Classes begin: 12:30 p.n., Monday, Aug. 26

No classes/Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 2

No classes/Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Monday, Oct. 14

No classes/Veterans Day: Monday, Nov. 11

Thanksgiving break : Wednesday, Nov. 27 – Sunday, Dec. 1

Classes end: Monday. Dec. 9

Dorms close: noon, Sunday, Dec. 15
