Derrick White , a guard for the Celtics, was attending a football game in Colorado on Saturday when he got hit in the head during a fight, TMZ reported .

White appeared to be uninjured in the scuffle and was quickly pulled away from the area, a video posted by TMZ shows.

TMZ reported law enforcement officers were on scene to disperse the fight, and no police reports were filed.

Celtics player Derrick White was attending the University of Colorado versus Colorado State University football game on Saturday when a man swung at his head.

White was in the audience to root for his alma mater, University of Colorado.

Tensions between the two teams' fans began to heighten in the third quarter of the game when White was hit in the head, TMZ reported.

In a video posted by TMZ, a Colorado State fan is seen swiping at White's head and knocking his hat off before the Celtics guard is pulled away from the fight. Other people in the area are seen shoving each other in the scuffle.

White appeared uninjured in the video.

Who is Derrick White?

Derrick White is a guard for the Boston Celtics .

He was part of the team's starting lineup when it clinched the NBA Championship earlier this year. This summer, he also won a gold medal as a member of Team USA's Olympic men's basketball team.

White played basketball at the University of Colorado before being drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 2017. He was traded to the Celtics in 2022.

The 30-year-old is originally from Parker, Colorado.
