Food Network star Alton Brown just announced he will be embarking on a tour of more than 60 cities, starting Feb. 13 in Australia, and moving on to locations like Atlanta, Los Angeles and Chicago before a final performance May 11 in Texas.

Brown has been honored in the cooking world with a pair of James Beard awards and in the broadcasting world with a Peabody Award. He lives in Atlanta.

His show is called the "Last Bite" tour , and the Boston stop will be in March. Tickets are currently on sale.

Here's what to know about the show.

When and where is Brown's Boston show?

Brown will come to Boston on March 14, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston.

What will happen on Brown's 'Last Bite' tour?

The event details state, " the famed foodist reflects on his decades in food media, presents several of his favorite culinary mega-hacks, sings some of his funny food songs, and in general offers a culinary variety show the likes of which human eyes have never seen."

“'Last Bite' will be my farewell tour and my last culinary variety show, as it’s time for me to make my full-time return to male modeling,” Brown said in a written statement.

What Food Network shows featured Brown?

Brown's show, “Good Eats,” aired for 16 seasons on Food Network . The show was science-based, and taught people about cooking, but also about the science behind it.

He also hosted other programs on the channel, such as “Iron Chef America,” “Food Network Star,” and “Cutthroat Kitchen.”

How did Brown end up involved with cooking?

Brown started his career directing TV commercials but then decided to pivot to cooking school. His goal was to "reinvent the cooking show."

Why has Brown never opened a restaurant?

Food Republic reported that Brown always wanted to be referred to as "foodist" rather than a chef or cook. The article also reported that Brown stayed out of the restaurant business because he "never wanted to work that hard."

    Has Brown written any books?

Brown’s 10th book, "Food for Thought," a collection of essays and ruminations, will arrive in February, 2025.

Some of his other books include:
