New police and justice facility planned for Carmel
CARMEL – A vision to convert the former Mahopac Hospital building into the new Carmel Police Department headquarters is advancing after the town board voted to purchase the building that most recently served as the administration offices for the Mahopac School District. The town approved the spending of $1.2 million for the building which became vacant following the relocation of the school district offices to the Mahopac Falls Elementary School.
