WFCN – On July 21, mass retailer Target Corp. will launch three new locations in California, Missouri, and Pennsylvania, expanding its network of over 2,000 stores. Target plans to open a shop in Lomita, California. This will be the company’s 318th outlet in California and its 127th in the Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim area. The Lomita store, which will employ about 70 people, is about 33,000 square feet and is located at 2130 Pacific Coast Highway. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

Missouri State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick announced that his office has begun an audit of the City of Leadwood in St. Francois County. The audit was requested by Mayor Robert Crump and the city’s Board of Aldermen and officially commenced with an entrance meeting with city officials on Thursday, July 11.
