Discover ongoing government projects at St. Anthony Village
2021-08-24
ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE, MN - As a city in a suburban area, the government needs to continue developing projects and facilities that can support the city's resolution. As with towns in sub-urban areas, Saint Anthony village competes to build ongoing projects that can later be used by both town folk and visitors outside the city. The following projects have been developed by the government of Saint Anthony Village with the help of its tireless workforce.
1. Redevelopment of Bremer Bank and the site of an old bowling alley Located at 2654 Kenzie Terrace, Interstate Development proposes to rebuild the existing Bremer Bank, old bowling alley, and small lot held by the Bremer Bank site. There are plans to convert the current Bremer Bank at 2401 Kenzie Terrace into a housing project with 76 apartments.
Assembling new Bremer Bank facilities on the former bowling alley site at 2654 Kenzie Terrace and the Southern Gateway Entrance Monumentation on a tiny Bremer Bank node on Kenzie Terrace.
2. The Ruby (formerly Doran Multifamily Development) Doran Properties Group will demolish the building and parking lot and replace it with a two-phase multifamily residential complex with 496 apartments as part of the redevelopment.
3. 3725 Stinson Apartments (formerly Interstate Development) A 38-unit multifamily building is planned for the 0.85-acre property at 3725 Stinson Boulevard by Interstate Development and Belden River Properties. In August 2021, Construction is currently underway and is expected to be completed in early 2022!
4. The Hayden (formerly Development 65) This facility will be located at 2501 Lowry Ave. in the Twin Cities. The project consists of a four-story senior living complex with 135 units. In addition to memory care, assisted living and independent living are included in the 135 senior apartments.
5. Kenzie Terrace & Stinson Parkway Development (Formerly Redevelopment of Lowry Grove) It was previously known as Lowry Grove Redevelopment. When The Village, LLC submitted an informal concept/sketch plan for the redevelopment of Lowry Grove at Lowry Avenue and Kenzie Terrace in 2016, the city received it. Southern Gateway Project is another name for this project.
6. I-35W North Gateway Study The purpose of the I-35W North Gateway project is to develop a long-term solution for all people who use that stretch of freeway. In the project, bridges, pavement, and interchanges will be evaluated for their quality. It is hoped that the research would also gather information from surrounding towns on their transportation and safety needs.
7. County Road E Resurfacing The surface layer on County Road E will be removed and rebuilt with new, smooth pavement between Stinson Boulevard and Silver Lake Road between New Brighton and Saint Anthony. For this development, property owners will not be charged a fee.
There are still many more projects to come. Any updates regarding projects will be featured on
