    1. Civil Rights Commission (MCCR)

    The MCCR officer shall advance the city's human relations policy, promoting civil rights and enforcing the title's civil rights requirements.

    Requirements: Must be a Minneapolis resident.

    Term: 3 years

    2. Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council (HMFC)

    The HMFC officer will increase the capacity of the Minneapolis community to grow, prepare, distribute, consume, and compost more healthful, sustainable, and locally sourced foods.

    Openings: 24

    Requirements: It has 25 members. 15 community member appointees, 6 city representatives, 1 Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) staff person, 1 Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) staff member, and 1 MPS community member.

    Term: 2-year term

    3. Local Board of Appeal and Equalization (LBAE)

    The LBAE officer will assist in considering appeals about the classification or estimated market value of Minneapolis properties.

    Openings: 4

    Requirements: The LBAE must have a minimum of three members, at least one of whom must be an appraiser, realtor, or other individuals knowledgeable about property assessments. One member must be a Minneapolis freeholder.

    Term: 1-year term

    4. Minneapolis Advisory Committee on Aging (MACA)

    The MACA officer will assist the Mayor and City Council in addressing senior citizen problems.

    5. Minneapolis Advisory Committee On People With Disabilities (MACOPD)

    The MACOPD officer will advise the Mayor and City Council on matters affecting persons with disabilities; to promote living prospects for persons with disabilities by resolving conflicts involving persons with disabilities.

    Requirements: Must be a Minneapolis resident.

    Term: 2-year term
