Paulding common pleas

Brandon Schlueter, 37, Paulding, appeared for sentencing on two counts of sexual battery, each a third-degree felony. He was given a 48-month prison term and classified as a tier III sexual offender. Five additional counts of sexual battery, each a third-degree felony, were dismissed.

Joe Suarez, 41, Paulding, pleaded not guilty to illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified government facility, a third-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for March 26 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

Brendan Adkins, 28, Oakwood, appeared for sentencing on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. He was placed on community control for three years with conditions, including that he serve one day in jail with credit for one day served while his case was pending.

Christopher Corwin, 42, Van Wert, pleaded guilty to two counts of nonsupport of dependents, each a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for April 9.

Louis Patton, 39, Fort Wayne, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony. A disposition hearing was set for April 2.

Allison Kline, 27, Continental, pleaded not guilty to counterfeiting, a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for March 26 and her bond was continued.

Ketwain Meridith, 23, Ferndale, Mich., pleaded not guilty to failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for March 26 and his bond was continued.
