We reported earlier this week that prior to filing litigation against the ACC, Clemson had been in contractual conversations with the conference. The topics and the scope of the conversations came out in discovery and in a court hearing in Mecklenburg County this week. The depth of the talks is up for debate, but one of the attention-grabbing topics was that Clemson turned down ESPN and the ACC and their request to move a game.

Man turns himself in after setting church vans on fire, deputies say
PAULINE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday they responded to an arson report at a church on July 4th at around 5:00 a.m. Upon arrival at 3119 Hwy 56 (Philadelphia Baptist Church), deputies saw two burning vans behind the church that were actively being put out by Glenn Springs Fire Department.

RALEIGH — Results from the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission’s (NCWRC) 2024 Wild Turkey Harvest Summary report show that hunters recorded 24,074 birds harvested statewide in 2024, including 2,372 birds taken during the youth season.
