Golf Tournament Charity Event – Help Lahaina Maui Heal
Greetings from the North County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,. As the anniversary of the devastating fires in Lahaina, Maui, approaches, the North County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Hawaii Foundation and Kings Cathedral in Lahaina Maui to announce and produce a fundraising golf tournament. To support the ongoing recovery and healing efforts, we would like to invite your organization to join us for this meaningful event, which will raise both money and awareness for the survivors and aid in the continued rebuilding of Lahaina.
County Completes Phase Two of Probation’s Youth Transition Campus
County leaders were joined by community partners to celebrate the completion of phase two of the new Youth Transition Campus in Kearny Mesa. Phase one was completed in 2022. This new phase includes additional living units, a standalone school, a basketball courts, a sports field and a large family visitation area. The Youth Transition Campus has been designed to support a model of positive youth development with input from national juvenile justice experts.
