McCook Football League Equipment Checkout Sunday July 7th
McCook Football League will be having equipment checkout on Sunday July 7th at the McCook Junior High School in McCook. Equipment checkout for pre-registered participants will start at 6:00 p.m. and walk-up registrations will be accepted at 6:45 p.m. Checkout will be on the North side of the school. The league is still accepting registrations for the 2024 Football Season. All registrations will be accepted up until checkout is complete for all grades. Registrations can be picked up at The Sports Shoppe, McCook Lettering, McCook High School, Radio Stations in McCook, or the night of checkout. Grand Island Community Fireworks Display Planning Tips
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- The Grand Island Community Fireworks Display committee has updated information to help you prepare for this year’s fireworks display. New to many spectators is the addition of parking in the field across Stuhr Road, east of Fonner Park. Parking will be available in the “Luebbe Lot” after 8:30 p.m. on July 4. Due to the great vantage point, there is a new twist. The first 20 cars to that lot, that either show a donation receipt for $100 dated July 4 from the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation, or donate $100 at the gate, will receive VIP parking.
