"G2G" and "LMAO" really had them scratching their heads. Well in a scary turn of events, <em> we're </em> now the parents. And it seems as confusing to understand what middle schoolers are saying today as it was back then. And yeah, it doesn't. It's something one says when they <a href="https://wehavekids.com/news/millennial-vs-boomer-parents" rel="nofollow"> see someone with a big butt. </a></p><p> "I am proud to say I knew 23/24.," the teacher joked at the end of his video. "I have no clue what Fanum tax <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/fanumtax" rel="nofollow"></a> is and I don’t think they to either!" he added. </p><h2> People in the comments section were cracking up. </h2><p> "I purposely <a href="https://wehavekids.com/news/funny-happiness-story" rel="nofollow"> use them wrong with my students </a> …. They USUALLY see how silly some of them sound lol," one teacher wrote. "I heard some kids coming to my store and they said they wanted to look drip. WTF! I ain’t that old," another person added. "I hit 'em back with old slang and now we are both confused," a third commenter teased. </p><p> Many people pointed out that most of these expressions are AAVE (African-American Vernacular English) and have been around for a lot longer than 2023.
