Here’s what’s happening to the Fry’s Electronics store in Phoenix
One of the Valley’s most distinctive big-box stores is set to become the new home base for Phoenix fire and police personnel. An old Fry’s Electronics location on Thunderbird Road and 30th Avenue, which resembled an Aztec temple, is in the process of being acquired by the City of Phoenix and will house a new headquarters for the Cactus Park Police Precinct and a future fire station.

Bullhead City announces open soccer, softball fields
BULLHEAD CITY –The City of Bullhead City is excitedly announcing the launch of open fields at Rotary Park and Ken Fovargue Park. As of July 16, a section of Soccer fields at Rotary Park, located at 2315 Balboa Dr, and a softball field at Ken Fovargue Park, located at 2255 Trane Rd, will be open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday night from sunset to 10 p.m. The open fields will provide a designated space and time for families and individuals without team or league affiliation to enjoy the fields.

The Eloy Fire District responded to the store after the animal friends walked into the facility and followed a patron into a bathroom.
