Good Samaritan Replaces Missing Sundial at Clark's Historic Plantation Museum
CLARK, NJ — TAPinto Clark reported a few weeks back on the missing historic sundial over at the township's 17th century Dr. William Robinson Plantation Museum. Representatives of the museum have just announced that, while the sundial has not turned up, a new one was donated by an anonymous Good Samaritan, left on the very spot of the original.

Summit NJ Micro-paving Project Begins in Early August
SUMMIT, NJ -- The City advises that micro-paving on several Summit streets is scheduled to begin in early August, weather permitting. Residents on affected streets will receive written notification prior to the start of work. Specific project dates will be shared on the city website and social media once finalized. The affected streets include: Arden Place, Bellevue Avenue, Essex Road, Prospect Hill Avenue, Ridge Road, and Woodfern Road.
Milkshake is looking for his forever home!
Our little Milkshake isn’t so little anymore. We can’t imagine a better #FeelGoodFriday post than this. A few weeks ago, our rescue partners found Milkshake abandoned at a dump site in rural Mississippi. He was emaciated, severely dehydrated, loaded with worms and ticks, and covered in crusty, infected skin. Despite the crippling heat and look of utter defeat on his face, Milkshake wandered right up to his rescuers, tail wagging, sensing that help had finally arrived.

32-year-old motorcyclist dies in crash at N.J. intersection, police say
A motorcyclist died Tuesday night after he was involved in a crash at a Union County intersection, police said. An investigation showed that a motorcycle being driven by 32-year-old Rahway resident Justin Almenas was traveling west on Madison Hill Road in Clark shortly before 8 p.m., authorities said. He collided with a sedan that was making a left onto the road from Adams Street, according to a statement from the Clark Police Department.
Fundraiser to Support Children of Montclair Schools Superintendent
The Montclair community is coming together to support the family of Montclair School Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Ponds, by starting a college fund for his three sons. A GoFundMe started by Tessie Thomas and shared by Montclair Schools PTA groups has raised more than $40,000 as of Thursday afternoon. HILLSIDE — In the latest hot spill lawsuit against Dunkin' in New Jersey, a Union County woman claims she suffered severe and permanent burns on her hand due to negligence. Essence Springer bought a hot mint tea at the Dunkin' drive-thru on Liberty Avenue in Hillside on Dec. 17, 2023, according to the lawsuit filed last week.
