A Social Security increase is on the horizon. Here’s COLA projection.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Social Security increase of 2.64% may occur in 2025, according to the latest estimates from The Senior Citizens League. The Consumer Price Index — the index used to determine the cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) for Social Security — fell to 3% last month, according to a post on NJ.com, a sister site of SILive.com.

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - Thursdays during the summer add a little more color to the Mountainside Community Pool as pineapples, doughnut holes, and palm trees float across the water. A summer tradition since the 80’s the local pool has kept the community involved hosting weekly family float nights every Thursday. Floats, typically not allowed in the pool, are welcome from 6-7:15 every Thursday during the summer season.
