On Thursday, July 4th, at approximately 11:39 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 13 in Pearl River County. A 1994 Jeep Wrangler driven by 19-year-old Troy Hughes of Lumberton, MS, traveled south on Highway 13 when it collided with a 2023 Toyota Camry driven by 23-year-old Jocelin Sanchez, of Tylertown, MS, traveling north on Highway 13.

Tylertown woman identified as victim of fatal Pearl River County crash
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - Officials have now identified the victim of a fatal crash on Highway 13 in Pearl River County. The crash took place late Thursday night just after 11:30 p.m. when a southbound Jeep Wrangler collided with a northbound 2023 Toyota Camry driven by 23-year-old Jocelin Sanchez of Tylertown.
