Wrong-way driver injured in rollover crash on I-69
A driver who was travelling eastbound on westbound lanes of Interstate 69 was severely injured in a crash Sunday night near Capac. A news release from the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office states dispatchers received a call about a wrong-way driver around 9:30 p.m. Before deputies could arrive on the interstate, a rollover crash involving the driver was called in.

Port Huron to Mackinac Race comes to an end
Sailboats are crossing the finish line up at Mackinac Island as the 100th Bayview Mackinac Race begins to wind down. The race got off to a slow start, being delayed nearly two hours Saturday due to lack of wind on lower Lake Huron. Wind conditions changed later in the day, giving a boost to some of the larger and faster boats in the race. The first to cross the finish line was Wizard in Class A shortly after 1pm Sunday. The leader for much of the race was Maverick, who also won the Chicago to Mackinac Race, but had to withdraw due to a mast failure. As of Monday morning, much of the fleet was in a line between Mackinac Island and Rogers City. The remaining boats are expected to finish Monday afternoon.

Woman killed in Flint shooting
FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) – A woman is dead after a shooting in Flint on Sunday. It happened about 2 p.m. in the 2000 block of S. Dort Highway on Sunday, July 21. Upon arriving at the scene, Flint police officers found a woman with a deadly gunshot wound and another victim with non-life-threatening injuries, Flint Police Det. Tyrone Booth said. The other victim was taken to an area hospital.
