    Four Morton homes crack Tazewell County's top 10 for March

    None of the homes sold in Tazewell County last month cleared the $500,000 threshold. Morton, traditionally a core community for upscale home purchases, contributed five addresses of the county's 10 most expensive home sales in March, including the top four.

    East Peoria had three homes on the list, and Washington and Hopedale each had one.

    10. 1441 Jadens Way, Washington

    A three-bedroom, three-bath ranch in Washington's Hunter's Glen subdivision, this home offers 2,031 square feet of living space. It was built in 2008. Key selling points included a large deck, a partially finished basement, solar panels, and an oversized two-stall garage.

    Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group listed the property. It was sold March 15 for $326,000.

    9. 150 Fawn Haven Drive, East Peoria

    Built in 1999 on a .32-acre lot, this 3,495-square-foot ranch offers a sunroom, a deck, a partially finished basement, and landscaping. It contains three bedrooms and three baths.

    The home was sold March 15 for $330,000 through RE/MAX Traders Unlimited.

    8. 306 Harbor Pointe Drive, East Peoria

    A 2,409-square-foot tri-level townhouse built in 1996 in a gated community, this home features panorama views of the Peoria Skyline and the Illinois River. Other amenities include irrigation, a three-season sunroom, a gas log great room fireplace, and a patio.

    The home was sold March 22 for $330,000 through RE/MAX Traders Unlimited.

    7. 22 Newport Court, Morton

    This two-story home features landscaped grounds with an oversized shed, a gas family room fireplace, granite kitchen counters and a covered patio. Built in 2000, its 3,358 square feet of living space contain four bedrooms and four baths.

    Listed with Signature Heights Realty, LLC, the home was sold March 15 for $386,000.

    6. 8593 N. Wildlife Road, Hopedale

    As one would expect from a home in an outlying community, a key selling point for this Hopedale address is an 8.7-acre wooded lot. Other features include cathedral ceilings, a recently constructed deck, a patio and a full walk-out basement. Built in 1999, its two stories accommodate five bedrooms and three baths in 2,626 square feet of living space.

    Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group listed the home. It was sold March 28 for $390,000.

    5. 127 Barrington Lane, East Peoria

    This two-story, 4,064-square-foot home was built in 2007 on a 1.02-acre lot. Containing six bedrooms and four baths; it boasts a great room gas log fireplace, hardwood floors, a deck and a full finished basement.

    The home was sold March 5 for $395,000. Jim Maloof/Realtor was the listing agency.

    4. 800 N. Oklahoma Ave., Morton

    Built by Schrock Builders in 2000, this 3,062-square-foot home occupies a 9,583-square-foot lot in Morton's private Ackerman Park neighborhood. It contains four bedrooms and three baths along with such amenities as a basketball court with a Sport Court surface, a large patio with a hot tub, new landscaping and a finished basement with a family room and kitchenette.

    Listed with RE/MAX Traders Unlimited, the property was sold March18 for $399,900.

    3. 1408 S. Missouri Ave., Morton

    This 2,897-square-foot home was built in 1999 on a .26-acre lot. It contains four bedrooms and three baths, and offers a partially finished basement, a fireplace, and an attached three-stall garage.

    The home was independently sold March 1 for $450,000.

    2. 1266 E. Monroe St., Morton

    This five bedroom, four bath home offers 3,371 square feet of living space and occupies a 9,375-square-foot lot. It was built in 2012 and features a brick paver patio, a gas log living room fireplace, a finished basement with a bar area and hardwood flooring.

    Listed with Keller Williams Revolution, the home was sold March 27 for $465,000.

    1. 1243 Weatherspoon Drive, Morton

    This 3,190-square-foot ranch was custom-built in 2017 on a .28-acre lot. Key selling points included landscaping, a pergola, and oversized three-stall garage, quartz kitchen and master bath counter tops and a finished basement with a recreation area and family room. It contains four bedrooms and four baths.

    The home was sold March 1 for $485,000 through RE/MAX Traders Unlimited.
