If you used your Visa or Mastercard credit card to access cash from an ATM in Ville Platte, Ponchatula, Metairie, Cossinade, or any other community in Louisiana since October of 2007 and were assessed a fee to gain access to your money you could be getting at least some of that money back.

SHREVEPORT, LA - Parents and students in schools across Louisiana are on notice today about new rules for cell phone use in schools. State lawmakers passed a measure tightening the rules. Senator Beth Mizell of Franklinton pushed for passage of Senate Bill 207 which won approval unanimously in the Senate and passed 84 to 13 on the House floor.

Voting has begun for the 2024 American Association of State Troopers Best-Looking Cruiser Contest. This year, Louisiana’s submission features a state police cruiser at the LARC Acadian Village in Lafayette. Sgt. SHREVEPORT, La. – Shreveport police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting Monday night in the Werner Park neighborhood that claimed a man's life. The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office identified the victim as Brion Morris, 21. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he died.
