Flood advisory lifted in Appleton
APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - The City of Appleton experienced a brief period of very heavy rain Friday, which led to localized flooding on some streets. According to National Weather Service data, the city says parts of Appleton received over 2.5 inches of rain in a short amount of time. This, in addition to a wet spring and early summer, contributed to the flooding situation.
