Wisconsin patients are still suffering effects of Ozempic shortage, pharmacists say
Patients at a Milwaukee pharmacy are feeling the shortage of Ozempic and other medications used to treat type 2 diabetes. These medications — known as GLP-1 drugs — have been in short supply since 2022. Manufacturer Novo Nordisk advised that the shortage will last until at least the end of the year.

A Wise Women concert will be held at Woodwalk Gallery, 6746 Cty G in Egg Harbor, on Aug. 2, 7 pm. These concerts have been a Woodwalk tradition for years. This year’s show stars four veteran performers: dancer Andria Nikoupolis Weliky and singer-songwriters Jeanne Kuhns, Jenny Bienemann and Marybeth Mattson. They will celebrate their visions of the world with original songs and dance.

Local talent Zephyr Ciesar will perform at Björklunden on July 31, 4:30-6:30 pm. Ciesar has performed at many venues around the county, both as a soloist and the lead vocalist of rock band Bacchus Lotus. In an interview for a 2022 Door County Living story, bandmate Charlie Eckhardt said of Ciesar, “Zephyr brings to the stage this positive energy. That energy shows in the way she performs and in the way that she interacts with the musicians on the stage, and it’s contagious.”
