The Port of Peri Peri to Open in Pembroke Pines

Westfork Plaza , the large shopping center on Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines , will soon be home to South Florida’s first Port of Peri Peri . The Portuguese restaurant franchise will launch a new location at 15817 Pines Blvd .

The Port of Peri Peri allows guests to “embark on a culinary adventure into the vibrant realm of Peri Peri cuisine, where our expertly flame-grilled chicken, meticulously infused with authentic spices, delivers a harmonious blend of heat and flavor to your palate,” says the chain’s website . And as often happens with great franchise brands, the team launching South Florida’s first Port of Peri Peri started off as fans.

“We first encountered the Port of Peri Peri in Chicago, and we immediately wanted to bring it to our South Florida community,” franchisee Raheel Hanif told What Now on Thursday. “Every time we went to Chicago we would make sure to go.”

Hanif, whose team also franchises concepts like Smoothie King , says the Port of Peri Peri always makes an impression through a combination of flavor and the quality and healthfulness of fresh ingredients.

“It’s all grilled; the only thing fried is the French fries,” Hanif said. “That really separates us from the rest. Our chicken is a really clean and healthy product, always humanely raised. The quality is like no other.”
