Creative Media Technology Building Open To Students!
Doña Ana Community College (DACC)’s new Creative Media Technology (CMT) building is now open to students for fall classes. The building, at 2400 Film Street, is located on the Arrowhead Park campus at New Mexico State University (NMSU), just south of the Burrell College of Medicine. The building is currently open to students enrolled in the CMT program, with a ribbon-cutting event scheduled for October 25th. Tours of the CMT facility for the media and the public will be held on that date.

76-Year-Old Felon Charged with Illegal Possession of Firearms and Explosives in Las Cruces
Frederick Urban, a 76-year-old man from Chaparral, has been charged with illegal possession of firearms and explosives after a tip-off led to the discovery of a vast arsenal at his Las Cruces residence. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Urban, who has a prior felony conviction, was presented in front of a federal judge on Monday and is currently detained pending a detention hearing date, which has yet to be scheduled.
