After examining how much money New Hanover County public high schools earn from sporting events, it's time to evaluate Pender County.

Pender County's three public high schools — Topsail, Trask, and Pender — range in size and NCHSAA classification. In Hampstead, Topsail (4A) had an average daily membership of 1,958 entering the 2023-24 school year, more than 2.5 times as much as Trask (2A) and Pender (1A), which both recorded ADM numbers around 750.

With such disparity in school sizes, Topsail unsurprisingly brings in much more at the gate than Trask or Pender. Here's a breakdown of each school's total gate and concessions revenue for the 2023-24 school year and a list of coaches' salaries.
