    Monday update: Heat advisory begins at noon for Union County

    PENDLETON — The National Weather Service's heat advisory for Union County kicks in at noon Monday, with afternoon highs ranging from 90 to 105 expected.

    In an updated release issued Monday morning, forecasters said the advisory would expire at 10 p.m. Wednesday — 24 hours earlier than in a previous version.
