Tre’Devon Lane to be Honored with Street Sign Dedication Ceremony
On Saturday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. there will be a street sign dedication ceremony for Tre’Devon Lane at the corner of Kirkbride Ave and New Willow Street. On September 22, 2012, Tre was shot and killed after sacrificing his life to save two young ladies while sitting on his grandmother’s porch on New Willow Street. At the time of his death he was 19 years old. Tre’ attended Mercer County Community College in West Windsor in pursuit of a degree in social work, while also working part-time as a security guard. He loved basketball and is remembered by his infectious smile.

HBO's 'Task' is preparing to film in Wissahickon Valley Park next week
Wissahickon visitors might catch a glimpse of Mark Ruffalo, Fabien Frankel and Emilia Jones next week as the cast and crew of "Task" descend on the park for filming. The new HBO series stars Ruffalo ("Poor Things") as an FBI agent who's leading a task force to break up drug house robberies. Frankel ("House of the Dragon") and Jones ("CODA") are also part of the star-studded cast. Berwyn native Brad Ingelsby is the creator, screenwriter and executive producer of the show, which follows-up his popular series "Mare of Easttown." The cast of "Task" was last seen in the area in June when a scene was being filmed at the Delaware County Courthouse.
