Rapid City man sentenced to 15 years for sexually assaulting a child
A Rapid City man was sentenced in Pennington County court Tuesday to 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child. Ian Hoffman, 29, had agreed to plead guilty to two counts of sexual contact with a child. Hoffman’s plea deal with the state involved an Alford Plea, which allows a defendant to plead guilty as part of a deal even if they still maintain their innocence.
