I wouldn't spend a dime to live in Hershey

OMG! They are really going to regret buying in the Hershey area. I'm sure the houses are great but wait until the tax bills arrive. For a fairly rich area with Hershey Park and concerts and Hershey Bears you would think taxes would be low, but no they are the highest in the area. Add in Dauphin County taxes and the absurd occupational taxes and your talking seriously money. And be careful at the end of the month because cops will be following you relentlessly riding up on your bumper trying to make you speed up so they can give you a $170.00 ticket for going 6mph over the limit. I own a house in Annville, Lebanon County and my taxes are 1/2 that of Hershey and I rarely see a cop. I'm only 15 miles away.
