myself as I am sure others gave very generous contributions to this lady and her organization to honor her and help with these animals care. where is the accountability of what happened to all the money that the organization took in? bcz it's a charity r their tax recorts on the internet? I'd be very interested seeing where it went

Here is my conundrum with this case. I have horses, THEIR are ALL rescue. But, believe it or not, they are considered LIVESTOCK. This is happening everywhere, people who can't afford to house, and feed, and get farrier for their feet, a dentist for their teeth...( you need to float...or file a horses teeth about once a year as they get sharp edges and such, which hampers their ability to chew, and eat properly) Then, THE BIG BILL! Your veterinarian, ugh! And thats always a ugly bill...and cash or credit up front for total bill! Plus, supplies, flyspray, worming meds at least twice a year. ETC.ETC ETC. People realize they just can't afford it, their sent to a disgusting auction, which most, if they actually survive the ordeal, are sold to meat buyers. They put them on their lot, sick, injured, young, old...makes no difference. Then they eventually load them into trucks, and are sent to Canada or Mexico for meat.
