Update: Berks County under a flash flood warning Monday morning
An updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 6:07 a.m. in effect until 7:30 a.m. for Berks County. "At 6:07 a.m., Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated showers and thunderstorms that produced between 1 and 4.5 inches of rain across the warned area have weakened and mostly moved to the south and east. Portions of Route 422 in Exeter Township are closed due to flash flooding," according to the weather service. "This includes Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 3 and 11."
