From April 16, 2026, to October 17, 2026, the ship will sail seven- to nine-day cruises to Bermuda from Philadelphia’s SouthPort Marine Terminal Complex.

Downingtown STEM Grad Wins Scholarship for Work in Suicide Prevention, Mental Health
Recent STEM grad Sophia Fontecchio created her nonprofit in 2021. Sophia Fontecchio of Downingtown recently received the third annual Youth Scholarship, presented by the Chester County Suicide Prevention Task Force. The $1,000 scholarship is open to high school seniors in Chester County who contributed to school and community activities to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.

Sabrie Pierce Murder: Tyjohn Walker-Jones Charged
Tyjohn Walker-Jones, 16, is being charged as an adult with first-degree murder and related offenses, said authorities in a release last Wednesday, July 17. He's accused of shooting 17-year-old Pierce at the Wallingford Estates Apartments, 2701 Madison Street, according to investigators. Abdullah Muslim, 17, is also charged in connection with the deadly shooting.

Old City to release debut LP, share “Prey” video
Philadelphia-based punk hip-hop group Old City have announced that they will be releasing their debut album. It is self-titled and will be out on September 13 via Get Better Records. The album features contributions from Milo Aukerman of Descendents, The Ramonas, Messed Up, Conflict, Baz The Frenchman, and many more. The group has also released a video for their song “Prey” which features samples from Leftover Crack and Fugazi along with additional guitars by Gav King of Conflict and additional vocals by Milo Ackerman. A tragic incident unfolded in the Feltonville section of North Philadelphia on Saturday night, leaving a 1-year-old girl dead and two others injured after a vehicular collision. A woman has been arrested and charged in connection to the shooting of a 7-month-old boy in Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood.
