Stepping into Butcher and Singer, I was immediately taken by the excellent environment. The speakeasy vibe was so cool, and it felt like I was stepping back in time. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, making the dining experience exceptional.
The food was some of the best I've ever eaten. The steak and lamb chops were made to perfection, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. The salmon, mashed potato, creamed spinach, brussels, and Mac & cheese were all delicious. The crab cake and Moscow mule were also enjoyed by several people in our party.
However, the pre-meal bread and the medium-rare steak were a bit of a letdown as they were dry and tough. The service was also a bit slow. But despite these minor hiccups, the overall experience was fantastic. The romantic atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a date night or a business setting. I can't wait to return and explore their drink/food menu more. Just a heads up, they no longer offer valet parking, but there is limited street parking and local garage parking within walkable distance.
