Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at CO-OP Restaurant & Bar, nestled in the heart of University City. The ambiance, particularly in the evening, transported me to the bustling streets of Nanjing or Hangzhou, China. The restaurant's lively energy, amplified by its connection to The Study's lobby, made for a delightful experience.
I sampled two dishes, both of which were quite delectable. The seasonal pasta, in particular, was a standout, possibly one of the best meals I've had in Philly. The menu, brimming with fresh, local ingredients, offers a variety of options to cater to every palate.
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. The breakfast pastries, while visually appealing, were a bit of a letdown, lacking in flavor and seeming underbaked. The burger, too, left something to be desired, being dry and overcooked. The linguine, while flavorful, was a tad too buttery for my liking. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to giving CO-OP another visit soon.
