My recent visit to Baan Thai was nothing short of a culinary delight. This Thai restaurant has a reputation for its spicy curry and other dishes that are so delicious, they've even converted those who aren't usually fans of Thai cuisine.
I was recommended the Chiang Mai Curry, and it was indeed a tasty choice. The Jasmine Soup, Tom Yum Soup, and Baan Thai Chicken were all excellent, with large portions, delicious flavors, and tender meats. The veggie dumplings were fresh and amazing, and the Massamum Chicken Curry, despite having pineapple (which I'm not a fan of), was still enjoyable.
The service was quick and friendly, whether you're dining in or taking out. The place was quite deserted when I visited, but there was a festival in town, so that might have been a factor. Regardless, I'll definitely be back to try more from their extensive menu, which includes the likes of fried spring rolls, fresh spring rolls, drunken noodle, and veggie lover. If you're a fan of Thai food or even if you're not, Baan Thai is worth a visit.
