My latest food adventure took me to 98K Hamburger, a spot that reminded me of the fried chicken burgers I've had in China, complete with Orleans chicken wings. This place might just become my new go-to for fried chicken in the city. They're upfront about the wait times for some items, but trust me, it's worth it. The chicken is served hot and juicy, with a satisfying crunch that leaves you wanting more.

The portions are generous, so much so that I ended up taking some home. The chicken sandwich is a pleasant surprise, larger than you'd expect. I've been visiting this place off and on for about a year and I've yet to be disappointed. The chicken thigh burgers, both spicy and not, are a must-try. The cod sandwich and fries are also worth a mention.

However, not all that glitters is gold. The patty meat seemed to have a lot of filler and a weird texture. The cheese fries were served with cold cheese, which was a bit off-putting. The chicken thigh sandwich had a rubbery texture, which was rather unpleasant. But the whole fried chicken was average, on par with popular fast food chains, and presented well. Despite a few hiccups, I left satisfied and look forward to trying more items on their menu.
