The Northeast and Mid Atlantic states from Virginia northeast to Pennsylvania, Marland, Delaware, New Jersey, Southeast NY, Long Island, and Connecticut northward to Maine will be dealing with an arriving clold front Friday. Temperatures ahead of the front will rise to the mid 80s to some lower 90s. Dew points will be rising into the 60s as the humidity goes up. Add to that a cold front and a strong upper trough and we have the set up for severe thunderstorms.
